Lily Collins Says It’s Dangerous to Hunt Demons In High Heels

What's the most dangerous part about saving the world from demons? Doing it in fashionable footwear, of course.Lily Collins stars in next month's The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones, the big-screen adaptation of
the hugely popular fantasy book by Cassandra Clare. In the movie, Collins plays Clary an ordinary teenager who discovers it's her destiny to become a demon hunter, and along with the fighting skills come the proper butt-kicking costume.
During an interview at the San Diego Comic Con, where Collins was promoting the film, Collins talked about the fine art of running in five-inch heels something every good demon hunter must learn to do.
Doing stunts in a basic top that's a dress and 5-inch, leather thigh-high boots that's not normal, Collins said. That's not easy. I didn't have any injuries though. That was great.
Of course, there's a lot to be said for acquiring a new skill, and Collins says this one improved her self-image. Running around in heels, being able to do all that and not injuring myself is kind of a boost of confidence Collins said. With a smile she added, Every girl needs that experience.
So what advice does Collins have for fellow demon hunters who may have to chase some creature in snazzy boots? Don't think about it too much Collins said. Because the more you think about it, the more you're going to trip.
