Aurora shooting victim Jessica Ghawi survived Toronto mall shooting in June

An odd feeling which led me to go outside and unknowingly out of harm’s way. It’s hard for me to wrap my mind around how a weird feeling saved me from being in the middle of a deadly shooting."
Jordan Ghawi, Jessica's brother, was woken by a frantic call from his mother in the early morning hours of Friday. He says she was "hysterical, and almost unintelligible."
"I was able to contact the man that was with my sister, mutual friend Brent Lowak, who states that they were in the theater when an incendiary device was fired into the crowds and that shots rang out immediately afterwards," Jordan Ghawi wrote.
"Brent further stated that he took two rounds and that my my sister took one round followed by an additional round which appeared to strike her in the head."
Right before boarding a plane to head for Denver, Jordan Ghawi posted on Twitter:
"Well this could easily be the worst night of my life. It appears that my sister has been fatally wounded in a mass shooting at a movie premiere in Denver, CO."
As this story develops, more information is coming out and it appears now that "several members of the U.S. military are among those critically wounded," according to CNN.
